Product Description:

A Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP sensor) is used to measure the intake manifold pressure of an engine. It is typically located next to or on the throttle body. This provides the ECU with intake manifold pressure information, allowing it to estimate the density of air, and then adjust the air-fuel ratio according to the length of the fuel pulse for the most efficient combustion.
