Mechanical Mounting Requirements
The sensor should be installed at any location of a chassis, such as fuel tank, engine mounting, or engine compartment as long as the environmental temperature is within the range -40°C and +125°C. It is also supposed to be mounted on the low pressure side of the fuel line, after the filter to prevent any larger particles from blocking the sensor. If the sensor is installed in the return line, one should take into account possibility of line draining when the vehicle is turned off, which will delay the process of generating correct signal output till the fuel reaches the sensor.
