Product Description:

A manifold absolute pressure sensor is used to measure the pressure inside an engine's intake manifold. It is usually found near the throttle body on the inlet manifold. The MAP sensor provides data about the density of air and the air-fuel ratio to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). This information enables the ECU to modify engine load, fuel injection pulse, and ignition timing.
